Breath of Fresh Air

We visited a new church today. And all I can say right now is that it was WONDERFUL. The music was so worshipful, everything about the preaching was fabulous, and the people there were very welcoming and friendly. It was a great Sabbath morning.

Now to rest before I start cooking for the game. All our "company" has had to back out for the night, so it's a nice and unexpected surprise to have another family-only evening.

And, just because I grew up in Louisiana,

Who Dat!

  1. Glad you had such a wonderful Sabbath....and the Saints won!!

Where did y'all go to church yesterday? There are a lot of PCA churches in St. Louis, aren't there?

  2. Yes, there are a lot of good churches here. And we've visited a lot of them--Memorial, Crossroads, Covenant (where we've been for the most part), Central (EPC), Providence's plant called Resurrection (Abby and George's church), and this week we visited the Kirk of the Hills. It's been probably the hardest thing for us. We just know what we prefer and there are so many good churches. We can't believe we're not settled yet; it's annoying to both of us. How did it go for y'all when you first moved to Nashville?

And, yes, Who Dat! I'm glad for the Saints and for NO that they won. :)
